The Cupcake Thief

Karli, Parker, Kaylee, Brenna and I (Marci), were having lunch with dad at Provo High today. Mom always packs lunch for Karli and Dad on the days when they have lunch together, and she always includes something sweet (chocolate) for dessert. Today the chocolate was Hostess Cupcakes. We were all finishing up and Karli had gone into the back room for a minute. She came back and was gathering up her stuff when she started scanning the table. She looked around and then lifted the napkin next to dad's dish. Hiding under the napkin were two hostess cupcakes. Karli snached one up with a "Hey," and Dad, with a guilty smile on his face held up the bananas and said "these are for you." We all got a good laugh at the chocolate sneaker. Needless to say Karli didn't let him get away with keeping both treats but it was pretty funny :)

Memories of dad and chocolate:

It seemed that mom always kept either Cupcakes or Fudge Stripes for dad's lunches on hand.

On hand means in the freezer because dad likes his chocolate nice and cold.

Dad is the only person I know who can eat a Hershey Bar one square a day.

I don't know exactly how he kept the chocolate in the freezer for such a long period of time with out us kids getting it--it probably helped that I don't care for Hershey's bars!
