Last night Cassy and her children came over for a visit. Brayden was not with her, so I assumed he had to work at the hospital. [He is completing on his residency in family practice medicine at Utah Valley Hospital.] Knowing the answer before I asked, I turned to Ian, questioning, "Ian, where is your dad?" He looked at me and said, "He is helping sick kids." I asked Ian, "What would we do if no one could help sick kids?" Before Ian could answer, Coy jumped to my side and said, "So Grandma, maybe their dads could give them a blessing."
This past week I tended Marci and Dan's kids for a day while Marci took a class. The kids were so good for me--better than they are at times for their parents. At one point Kaylee and Parker were playing outside with their friends, and I heard a motorcycle in the parking lot. Shortly, Kaylee came running in begging to go for a ride on the motorcycle. I told her since her parents were gone I would rather that she did not. She looked at me sadly and said "o.k." I said, "Thank you for minding me, Kaylee." She asked, "What does minding mean?" We went through that and she raced back outside.

As I have said in the past and will say over and over again, you are such an awesome grandma with such an awesome family. You definately give me hope that I can do it. I love you
Cindy, I Love You and aspire to be like you one day. Somedays I wonder if I can hold it all together, but know at least that my Family is Forever and because of all of the work that you've done that that family goes much farther back then I would ever have imagined. Thank you for all of your hard work on our behalf in doing our Family History. You are amazing.
