Christmas Pageant 2012

Much excitement was going on among the Eppich grandchildren on Christmas Eve. Sure there was going to be that infamous visit from Santa later that night, but I mean the purely improvised version of the Eppich Christmas Pageant.

After a little disorganization, all of the characters finally donned their costumes. No cost was spared on the costumes or the props--just kidding!

We had a quick run through playing to the words and music of the 50's crooner Perry Como. Then the curtain went up so-to-speak and Perry introduced us to Joseph and Mary played this year by Parker and Emma.

The innkeeper was perfectly portrayed by Coy and he assisted our young angel Lucy. She was so excited to announce the Savior's birth to our shepherds Brenna, Kaylee and Eliza.

We know the wise men came sometime later, but we always portray them coming on the night of the Savior's birth. This year Ian and Tyson brought the Savior the gifts of goldfrankincense and myrrh. [Keep in mind all the while Perry Como is leading us in Christmas singing between every act.]

The kids like to sing altogether the song "When Joseph Went To Bethlehem."

A wonderful Christmas Eve for all of us!
